CO-AX Valves, Inc.  Is the innovative leader in the unique design and manufacture of coaxial valve and manifolod technology for businesses worldwide.  CO-AX Valves constructed their new facilities in the I-95 Business Park in 2013 to better serve the needs of its rapidly growing US customer base.
The one-story building is constructed on a site having and area of 2.4 acres.  The building includes 3,300 office area, 20,100 sf warehouse and 2,000 sf mezzanine for a total floor area of 25,400 square feet.
Construction of the building is structural steel main framing with open web streel joists; walls are concrete masonry walls and metal siding; and foundations are shallow spread reinforced concrete column and wall footings.
Special Construction includes a 5 ton bridge crane with 48 foot span and 130 foot runway length; floor-mounted Jib Crain with One-Ton capacity and 9 foot span; and Roof-Mounted Mechanical Equipment.  The building exterior includes Aluminum architectural wall panels requiring close coordination with the Architect.
Knudsen Engineering is responsible for the structural engineering on this project.  Structural engineering included design of the the building superstructure and sub-structure (foundations), as well as bridge crane and jib crane.
